Your Jobcentre Plus
What is Jobcentre Plus?
Jobcentre Plus was a government agency set up in 2002 designed to offer a job search system for working age people in the UK. It was formed as a merger between the agency that previously ran traditional jobcentres (the Employment Service) and the Benfits Agency who look after the UK benfits system.
Sadly, Jobcentre Plus is no longer oporational and has been split up into different organisations and websites acording to the types of jobs they offer.
The job market in the UK is currently quite a touh nut to crack and whilst the Jobcentre Plus was a usefull tool for jobseekers, the web is still the most comprehensive and easy way to start your jobsearch.
